Ethiopia: GRANTS MANAGER, ETHIOPIA - Ethiopia

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Engility Corporation, building on IRG’s legacy in international development, seeks a Grants Manager to manage project grants and contracting processes for an upcoming USAID Feed the Future project focused on increasing the capacity and productivity of targeted agriculture value chains in Ethiopia. The Grants Manager will provide support in evaluating the compliance and budget side of the proposals and monitor the budget and compliance side of awarded grants; Provide logistical oversight to awardees on contract inception, implementation and closeout activities including financial management, required approvals, allowances, funding, procurement, audit and inventory file documentation; Analyze award specifications, changes and develop a logistical program to prepare agreements and modifications. Position is subject to successful award of the project

MINIMUM TANGIBLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a Master’s degree in business, economics, statistics, international development, or related fielD


• A least 7 years’ of experience with grants management and administration for international development projects


• Grants management experience on a USAID-funded project is required, grants under contract administration preferred


• Prior work on an agriculture, food security, value chain or similar project preferred


• Experience working in Ethiopia preferred, regional experience required


• An excellent oral and written English language communication skills required, Fluency in Amharic preferred
