Funds, Investments and Treasury (FIT) Manager Job at Glorious PLC - 2015


Company Background


Glorious PLC is one of the leading electronics and home appliances importer and distributor in Ethiopia. Presently, the company is undergoing major restructuring to increase its efficiency and market presence. It is now looking forward to recruit highly competent management and staff that can implement the business plan and take the company to higher levels.  


Position: Funds, Investments and Treasury (FIT) Manager


Reports to: Deputy General Manager


The FIT manager will be involved in business planning, raising capital, managing investments and closely monitor the working capital of the company. S/He will be responsible for networking and developing relations with third party partners (including banks, investee companies, Insurance companies, company consultant etc.)


Key duties and responsibilities


Secure the necessary working capital which is expected to grow over time


Secure as necessary loan funds on the strength of internal funds


Research and prepare for new investment/business opportunities 


Enable profitable placement of funds in short and long term investments , manage the portfolio and ensure liquidity of the company 


Undertake export business investments to ensure availability of foreign currency


Conduct and oversee due diligence, financial projection reviews, company valuations, and business plan reviews


Lead and negotiate investment deals


Prepare reports on financial risks and opportunities to immediate supervisor 


Undertake and execute assignments from the immediate supervisor 


Ensure that no payments are executed out of  the financial budget and business plan




Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management and preferably in investment 


Track record of leading projects or transactions in corporate finance or consultancy


Strong analytical skills and financial modelling/analysis capability


Excellent communication and report writing skills


Good interpersonal and public relation skills


Excellent MS Office working knowledge


Language: Fluent Amharic and English


Education


BA or MA- in Acounting , Finance or related fields
