Save the Children has several program interventions in Ethiopia both in development and humanitarian contexts through different thematic areas (Health and nutrition, food Security and livelihood, Water and Sanitation, Education, Children Without Appropriate Care and Child Friendly National Systems and Structure.

Save the Children Ethiopia Country Office, therefore, wants to hire an experienced and competent consulting firm to for To conduct Situation Analysis in relation to Children Living without Parental/Adequate Care

 

The Consulting firm should fulfill the following 

Minimum Masters Degree in Law, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology, Developmental Psychology, from a recognized institution. Team composition is highly valued. Experience in social science research and specific experiences in conducting legal and policy framework and situation analysis in the area of child protection Experience on qualitative research methods Expert knowledge and practical experience on child protection issues in Amhara Region. Knowledge and experience of using participatory methodologies Proficiency in computer skills, including use of appropriate and relevant software. Experience of coordinating diverse teams and communicating with individuals/groups at all levelsStrong analytical, presentation and writing skills in English languageAvailable in August and September, 2015

Interested applicants should submit two separate sealed documents in which one document should include the technical proposal including curriculum vitae of the proposed professional(s) with supporting document that shows previous work experience. The second document should include professional fee on the basis of daily rates, VAT and perdiem costs, as well as transport costs separately for the stated work along with copy of renewed Consultancy License to the above mentioned address of Save the Children, Ethiopia Country Office, before or on August 19, 2015, at 2:00 P.M in the box ready for this purpose. The procurement committee will open the bid.

Save the Children reserves the right to accept or reject the entire or partial part of this bid
