Mechanical Engineer Job at FrigorificoBoran Foods PLC - 2015

 ·         Coordinate with design to prepare site plan & equipment layout, structure layout etc. 

·         Study the drawings of the projects & estimate the resource requirements in line with the target programs given by the planning department.

·         Interpreting drawings & guiding the contractors to execute the work.

·         Indentifies materials specification, inspection requirements and organizes for stage inspection as required.

·         Assigning manpower and equipment in accordance with priorities. Forecasting manpower/equipment & coordinating with head projects for such requirement.

·          Checking and verification of the drawings and specifications familiarized on the construction details. Ensure that the drawings are in latest revision and editions, approved for fabrication and construction.

·         Undertook erection of equipment as per layout and made changes if necessary as per site conditions.

·         Planning and scheduling of the projects as per to meet the targets, providing expert technical advice within areas of responsibility, ensuring designs are carried out to specifications, and rules.

·         Check that the mechanical works are done properly and according to the designs.

·         Ensure the quality of all the mechanical works in consultation with the consultant.

·         Check the quality of the machines against the specifications and ensure conformity.

·         Check the complete integration of the different works considering the machines to be installed in the project.

·         Responsible for ensuring that the pre –commissioning and operating tasks are performed in line with the established procedures and good industry practices.

·         Site work planning and efforts to reduce the time frame of erection work.

·         Guide erection and commissioning activities.

·         Recording of actual process parameters and feed back to design department.

·         Provide onsite installation and commissioning support for satisfactory commissioning and handover of the projects.

·         Supervise mechanical completion and plant handover.

·         Responsible for planning out the design for required modification for existing machine for improving the quality of the product & minimize the break down time.

·         Develops and tests machinery and equipment, applying knowledge of mechanical engineering technology, under direction of engineering.

·         Responsible for smooth operation & maintenance of various equipments & utilities.

·         Prepare designs & plans for new facilities, selection of best suited technologies, machinery & equipment.

·         Responsible for upkeep of plant engineering records, drawings,statutory approvals.

BSC in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of experience. work experience in manufacturing industries and projects has advantage. 

experience in boiler erection,operation,effluent water treatment is required.
