1. Position: Editor
Qualification & Experience: MA Degree in Journalism, Communication, English language, literature or related discipline plus minimum of 6 years of experience of which 3 years experience as Editor. Or BA Degree in Journalism, Communication, English language, literature or related discipline plus minimum of 8 years of experience of which 3 years experience as Editor.
Basic Functions; The editor edits all reports and publications’ such as newsletter, flier, brochures, posters, annual report, website etc. prepared by different functional units of the bank. The editor has an overall responsibility for the publication’s content. He / She ensures that each issue or report is released on time with free of errors.
Duties & Responsibilities;
Coordinates the overall publications of the Bank;
Cross checking/editing/ the facts, spellings, grammar, writing style, design pages, photos etc. Checks the content (legitimacy and relevancy to the topic), language (grammar and content flow) and aesthetics (photo, image, sound, logo style and type, logo color, and Motto of the Bank) of the articles or documents to be published;
Determines a theme for each issue of newsletter and coordinates the publication flow;
Reviews submitted manuscripts/ reports and make changes to make the report/ article as clear as possible;
Manages website content and performs layout and design tasks;
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor;
2. Position: Generator Technician I
Qualification & Experience College Diploma in Electricity or relevant field plus 2 years of experience as Generator Technician
Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the immediate supervisor, ensures that the Generator is maintained and operated as per the standard procedures of the manufacturer; troubleshooting and detailed fault analysis; Ensures maximum generator availability and best possible equipment condition in branches and the head office.
Skills Requirement: Knowledge of computer operation is mandatory
Place of Work: Addis Ababa for both Positions
