Join our operation in Ethiopia in a varied and challenging role
The purpose of this role is to support all Plan International Pan Africa Advocacy, Campaigns and Partnership initiatives as well as lead on the implementation of all Child Rights Monitoring and Accountability projects at the PAO level. This role will contribute in delivering the advocacy, campaigns and partnerships requirements in the Pan Africa Program and the International Policy, Advocacy and Campaigns strategies of Plan International.
Do you have what it takes?
The Child Rights Advocacy and Communication Officer will take part in carrying out various tasks to facilitate the well-running of the office, including some administrative tasks. The post holder will also be involved in the administration related to interns, including the recruitment of new interns as well as to supervise their work and provide inputs and support in order to facilitate their work. Occasionally, he/she will be responsible for hiring consultants and ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
Excellent written and spoken English and French required. Fluency in African Union working languages would be advantageous.
