AfricaJUICE is a dynamic young company that is on track to become a major producer and exporter of tropical fruit juices from Africa. We plan to establish at least three production locations across Africa and become a premier supplier of Fair-trade juice to the European market.
Our first project, the Upper Awash Project in Ethiopia, which we have been operating since early 2009, involved the privatisation, rehabilitation, and expansion of an existing farm and the construction of a new fruit processing facility that has enabled the export of passion fruit juice from November 2010. africaJUICE has a strategic growth plan that seeks to replicate the Upper Awash business model in other locations in Africa in order to grow the volume and range of our products.

Role Summary
Directly report to GM To integrate financial reporting, management and controls and operational and financial planning in one department Key functions are Planning Manager, Sales Manager and Management Accountant Must be full-time on site at Tibila farm, Arzi Zone, Awash area, (2.5 hours drive from Addis including one hour by dirt-road from Adama). Modest furnished private accommodation will be provided at site, sufficient for employee on accompanied by partner basis. Expatriate medical cover will also be provided but candidate must undergo pre-assignment medical.
Duties and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of this position have been broadly grouped into two main functions: operational, people management.
Operational
Review, update and manage the Finance Management System, including all relevant policies, processes and procedures including but not limited to financing, accounting, billing, and auditing procedures.
People Management
Support the finance and planning managers and their teams to effectively accomplish the department’s goals and objectives.
