Position                                              : Logistics /Procurement Officer  Level                                                    : D1 National  Place of work                                     : Addis Ababa

 Salary                                                   : As per Oxfam GB scale

·         Responsibility for the management and implementation of           logistics support in Ethiopia Country Programs, This includes all           procurement chain, warehousing & stock management, vehicle           management.

·         Objectives are set within well- defined limits although some           adaptation on day-to-day issues may be required.

Ensure all arrangements for visitors and staff visiting the Gambella Programme are made and communicated in a timely manner. Actively participate in the implementation of Performance Management. Including objective setting, performance review, upward feedback and person development plans. Ensuring relevant aspects of Oxfam GB’s work in Gambella e.g Gender equity is reflected in your objectives and those of the staff you mange. Ensure implementation of Oxfam GB’s operational policies, procedures and guidelines, especially gender equity, in all aspects of Oxfam’s work. With support from technical advisors and programme service staff as needed. Support setting up and maintenance of all asset management responsibilities in field offices for all humanitarian and development programmes, providing capacity building support as necessary. Be a member of Oxfam’s team; participating in appropriate staff meetings, planning sessions and on-going lasing as needed.

Skill and competences:

·  Degree in management, or Supplies Management, with 5 years            experience

·  Able to work with little supervision in humanitarian emergency   context.

· Good Interpersonal and team working skills

·  Experience and training of vehicles management

·  Data management and reporting skills

·  Computer knowledge, MS word and excel

·  Sympathy with the aims and objectives of Oxfam

·  Commitment to humanitarian principles and action

·  Commitment to Oxfam’s equal opportunity and gender policies.   Demonstrated experience of integrating gender and diversity issues   into logistics programmes
