Habesha Cement S. CO would like to invite qualified and competent applicants for the following vacant positions:

1. Human Resource Department Manager

BA/MA in HR Management/Business Management or other related discipline

Experience: 13/9 years relevant experience after graduation out of which at least 7/5 years in managerial position respectively

Summary of Duties:

• Plan, Organize, directs coordinates and controls the overall activities of the personnel management, training and development, employment and administrative, employee’s relations and welfare services, health services and general services of the company.

• Develops a system of analysis on employee turnover, absenteeism, etc in order to find the causes and solutions to the problems.

• Ensure that efficient staffing and training is carried out either by initiating action or on the basis of requests by other departments.

Skill and Competency

• Strong Technical, Organizational and Managerial Skill;

• Career Oriented;

• Policy formation & Interpretation skills;

• Reliable, self-motivated, able to coordinate and work independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Term of Employment: Permanent

Basic Computer Skill is Mandatory.

Work experience in Industry is advantageous

Duty Station: Holeta Plant Site

2. Finance Department Manager

Qualification: BA/MA in Accounting/Financial Management/Business/ Administration / other. related discipline

Experience: 13/9 years relevant experience after graduation out of which at least 7/5 years in managerial position respectively

Summary of Duties:

• Plan, Organize, directs coordinates and controls the overall functional activities of the company

• Prepares and presents budget proposals and advises on general financial issues

• Plan and organize general accounting, coasting, budgeting and expenditure control systems

• Prepares sources and applications of cash in relation to the programs and policies of the company ; consult the CEO and Heads of departments on financial aspects of investment and other programs

• Ensures that the financial statements and finance related management information reports are prepared and submitted on time

• Facilitate the overall loan activates

Skill and Competency:

Duty Station: Head Office (Addis Ababa)

3. Project Coast Accountant

Qualification: BA/MA Degree in Accounting/ Business Administration/Financial Management or other related discipline

Experience: 9/5 years relevant experience out of which at least 3 years senior cost accountant

Summary of Duties:

• Develops, installs and maintains appropriate coast system for the company

• Ensures that appropriate coast classification, accumulation and reporting systems are in place for controlling coast

• Identifies and establishes coast centers for proper ascertaining and proper accumulation of costs

• Develops coasting systems to accumulate and allocate material, labor, production overhead, selling and distribution expenses, administrative and general expenses to coast centers

• Performs other functions ass required

Skill and Competency:

• Able to work under with minimum supervision and guidance

• Able to work under pressure

• Have good interpersonal skill

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Term of Employment: Permanent

Common accounting software knowledge is Mandatory.
