EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
We are looking to employ a seasoned professional to provide direct personal support to the International Director for Eastern and Southern Africa, supporting the smooth running of the Regional Office and uninterrupted liaison between the International Offices and the Country Offices.
The key responsibilities are to provide support to the International Director (IDR); maintaining documentation; managing the IDR’s Diary and travel; internal and external liaison and providing team support to the Regional Office. To be considered for the Executive Assistant position one would have a tertiary qualification in secretarial/ administration or related field with at least 5 years’ experience working for a senior manager in a team environment.
Further they would have to speak, read and write in perfect English with Amharic/French/Portuguese being an added advantage; have excellent minute taking skills, hold a valid driver’s license; have experience in events co-ordination, planning and delivery; have experience in dealing with confidentiality, be adaptable and be a self-starter with very good people and self-management skills.
