Sales and Marketing Department Manager

Sheba Leather Industry PLC would like to invite qualified applicants to fill the following vacant post:

Position: Sales and Marketing Department Manager.

BA degree in management, Economics, or related social science (preferably in marketing)

Work Experience:

• Prior experience in marketing products for exports preferably leather products for at least 6 years, including experience as marketing head for at least 2 years

• Strong domain and product knowledge Preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and comfortable interacting with international customers.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare annual market assessment and demand planning in association with SBU head, Production Head and GM

• Develop a sales & marketing plan to achieve sales targets in the territory in consultation with SBU head

• Develop the product SBUs marketing strategy for growth of company’s product range and target market in consultation with SBU head and GM

Market Intelligence & Trends

• Aggregate market intelligence & trends on customer preferences

• Sense customer needs to provide inputs to product development

• Identify pricing trends in the market and of key competitors

Promotion & Market Development

• Prepare marketing and sales promotion strategy

• Active promotion of products through media, brochure & road shows

• Coordinate with other S & M heads in the same or other SBU for joint promotion/ market development activities

Guiding & Monitoring Sales Process

• Monitor performance and ensure that Sales team meets sales & collections targets and customer expectations

• Negotiate best price with customer within the pricing bands

• Guide the sales div-manager to plan dispatch/ prioritization schedules

• Monitor the sales coordination for the order processing

Customer Satisfaction

• Interact with key client accounts and ensure high quality service

• Liaise with existing customers, identify new customer bases and ensure order generation

• Report quality issues and client feedback to SBU Head/Production/ Quality. Initiate corrective action, whenever required

Additional Requirements: Basic Computer skills
