Monitoring And Evaluation Officer

· M&E training for regional and district (woreda) HAPCO staff: Support the development of a curriculum and training schedule for periodic short courses on the principles of M&E and functioning of the national system for HIV/AIDS M&E; · Data quality control: Support the establishment of a system within FHAPCO for supportive supervision and data quality control through the organization of regular field visits; · Partner alignment to the national M&E system: Facilitate partner involvement in the National M&E Task Force and FHAPCO’s Joint Review and Planning meetings; · Generation of strategic information: Provide support in identifying areas where key information on the HIV epidemic and response in Ethiopia are missing and support the UNAIDS office to build partnerships for generating the missing information; · Production of M&E reports: Provide assistance in the collation, analysis/synthesis, packaging and dissemination of data to various stakeholders, such as the HAPCO annual M&E report, the biannual UNGASS report and articles for the FHAPCO news letter and website; · Under the guidance of the M&E adviser, the M&E Officer will also provide additional required support to FHAPCO’s efforts to strengthen the M&E system of the national AIDS response, especially regarding support to regions; · The M&E Officer will take part in the regular staff meeting of the M&E Directorate in HAPCO and feed- back UNAIDS. · Other related duties as required by the M&E Adviser and the Country Coordinator.
