Job Description:Support and manage all activities for the efficient running of the hospital. Key deliverables will be setting up the facility to enable quality patient care by replicating the Hospital throughout all its processes. The provision of this must be to the most efficient and effective methods available ensuring patient care levels as a priority. Ensuring the management of any out of line situations and escala-tion's are managed in a timely and appropriate manner and communicated back to the Director. Roles & Responsibilities Management
- Manage daily operations and ensure smooth patient flow
- Develop and implement strategies to increase new patients, referral patients, follow up pa-tients
- Ensuring the Aravind way continues throughout all processes
- Identify continuous improvement programs for all activities
- Managing all exceptions and escalations effectively Communications
- Conduct regular meeting with the staff ensuring effective two way communications
- Attending to visitors, observers, trainees who wish to know more about the hospital
- Corresponding with government and non government organisations on matters connected with hospital Administration. Administration
- Ensure that all surgeries posted for the day have been completed, enquire and monitor those whose length of stay is increased.
- Ensure the effective functioning of outreach activities to create awareness of the available fa-cilities and coordinate with the camp dept to achieve the target.
- Coordinate and control purchasing of all supplies and materials monitoring all purchase con-tracts with respect to supplier competence, pricing, quality, quantity, timing etc.
- Negotiate with the supplier and ensure the consumables are available at best price.
- To have overall control on the accounting activities of the hospital.
- Daily verification of all Hospital Accounts.
- Prepare a monthly working capital report and share it with the top management
- Ensure instruments maintenance activities are carried out regularly.
- Documentation of best practices
