We are looking for a en experience QA/QC Manager (Construction / Dam) to work for a European main contractor on the construction of Mega Dam project in Ethiopia.

Project:
A large HEPP project in Ethiopia.
At over 145m tall and 1800m wide the project has a construction value of around $4.8 billion and is expected to take nearly 4 years to build.
When completed the dam will be largest hydroelectric power plant in Africa and the reservoir will be one the continent's largest.
Job Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager
The right candidate must have the ability to communicate well at all levels within the Company and to demonstrate leadership. In addition, the candidate must possess very good planning, presentation, negotiations and organizational skills, the vision to identify quality improvement opportunities and the ability to achieve results through motivation and team working.
Responsible for the establishment of a fully documented project quality system in line with the Contract requirements and ISO 9001:2008 covering Construction
Ensure that work is carried out fully in accordance with the project quality standards specified in the Contract and that the procedures laid down in the Project Quality Plan to achieve these standards are followed.
Supervising a multi-discipline team of QC Inspectors on site
Coordinate external inspection agencies when required.
Maintain a project quality audit schedule to ensure effectiveness of the project quality system.
Keep close liaison with the Owner with regard to all site QA/QC issues during all phases of project execution.
Requirements:
Must speak Fluent English
BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction
15 years working experience with at least 10 years in QA posts in Dam or Hydro Power projects
Should have Quality accreditations
Must have international experience
