POSITION: IT Supervisor/ Support

JOB SUMMARY:
- Provide 24/7 phone call supports whenever required.
- Provide a day to day IT support for Guest and Hotel users related to Hardware and Software Issues.
- Implement solutions to user challenges and concerns associated with the use of personal computer equipment
- Keep track of record for all IT related issues and provide user training where applicable
- Manage, performs diagnostic and corrective measures relative to performance of software, hardware and computer users.
- Manage shared technology resources
- Work closely with all Hotel Critical applications to ensure smooth running of the network, Hardware and software are running with minimum down time.
- Work closely with concerned local authorities to make sure all local policy and procedure are met in terms of hardware, software application and services.
- Ability to work well with people who possess varying technical abilities
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related fields a
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position TCP/IP networking
Familiarity with the following software applications and managing related Hardware/servers
- Internet connectivity (Basic troubleshoots Support)
- MS Office 2007/2010
- MS Windows 2003/2008 Server/Advanced Server
- Remote support software
- Outlook/Outlook Web Access
- MS Windows Workstation/XP Professional/Windows 7
- Fiscal Printers
- Network Printers, Scanner, Fax and Multifunctional Printers
- Adobe/Adobe Reader
- An approachable, team player adaptable to a multicultural and multiracial working environment.
- Outgoing, people oriented, creative, reliable, courteous and composed in stressful situations
Hotel Applications
- Knowledge of OPERA, Micros and material control system (Mandatory)
- Working knowledge of PMS interface
