The Embassy of Sweden in Addis Ababa is looking to employ a well-qualified person for the position of Executive Assistant to the Ambassador. This position will be responsible for:
Programme Support to the Ambassador as well as media advisory
Programme Support to the Ambassador as well as media advisory
- Planning, preparing and coordination meetings, and providing technical and administrative support
- Preparing briefs, reading and/or speaking points for the Ambassador ahead of meetings and travel
- Acting as a secretariat for the Ambassador’s meetings; taking action points and coordination follow-up processes
- Organizing events, receptions and high-level visits, both technically and logistically. Managing invitations and contact database
- Managing correspondences with internal and external partners for the Ambassador
- Following Amharic media for articles/reports of interest
- Actively participating in writing for the social media of Embassy
- Arrange meetings for Deputy Head of Mission, Head of Political Section and Defense Attaché
- Performing other tasks as required
