Perl Application Developer?
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Intermediate to Senior Perl Developer who is not only excited about developing application in Perl but is also willing to learn / integrate new technologies with an Enterprise level Perl application. This candidate should be proficient in Perl development and should have solid understanding of Transact-SQL and JavaScript.
Responsibilities:
• Participate in the architecture, design, development and documenting of new features and enhancements of our current and next generation product lines
• Support and maintain the existing applications with regards to bug fixes and troubleshooting as well as functionality additions and modifications
• Actively participate in code reviews
• Assist Development Team in analysis of production level issues
• Brainstorm solutions, and then execute the details to deliver end solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Works overtime and weekends as needed to meet deadlines
Requirements of the Position:
• Must have at least 1-year experience working with Perl (Certified Perl Developer is preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree (equivalent may be considered depending on skills and experience)
• Must be detailed-oriented and possess a strong drive to deliver quality, consistent results in a timely manner
• Should be willing to adapt and learn new technologies
• Provide documentation both in program code and user documentation
• Transact-SQL, writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and developing databases
• JQuery, IIS, HTML, DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS experience
• Full Application Lifecycle experience
• Work both independently and collaboratively with team members and demonstrate innovation and accountability of assigned responsibilities
Additional Preferred Skills:
• Mobile technology experience
• Network Administration experience
