Country Director, Addis Ababa

Norwegian People's Aid is a humanitarian organisation rooted in the Norwegian Labour Movement. We work with International Development Partnerships, Humanitarian Mine Action, Rescue Service and First Aid, and Asylum and Integration. Norwegian People's Aid has more than 9500 members in Norway and 2400 staff worldwide. We work in 37 countries around the world, and will in 2012 have a turnover of 800 million Norwegian kroner.

Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) has supported programs in Ethiopia since the late 1980's. The NPA supports a range of Ethiopian partner organizations within the sectors of land and gender equality. The NPA currently supports 10 local partners within the land and gender equality sectors. The NPA Ethiopia office is located in Addis Abeba.

The NPA is now seeking a new Country Director for this program. Candidates should have solid experience in international development and in particular in support of local civil society groups and organisations.
