Overall Responsibilities
The Director of Corporate Finance Department will be in charge of planning, coordinating executions, and monitoring of the activities within the Department.

The responsibilities of its Corporate Finance Department is to provide business development services in Ethiopia including such services as strategic and business planning, business valuations, project feasibility studies, business restructuring studies and other related services.

Essential Functions
The incumbent endeavors to his/her best capacity and ability perform the following essential functions:

1. Ensure the provision of quality consultancy service to the firm’s Clients in the areas of:
1.1 Project Feasibility Studies;
1.2 Project Appraisal and Evaluation;
1.3 Corporate /Business Restructuring;
1.4 Corporate Due Diligence;
1.5 Business and Assets Valuations;
1.6 Strategic and Business Plans, and
1.7 Other business development consulting services as demanded by clients.
2. Lead and coordinate consulting engagements of the firm within the Department's domain and undertake review of inception reports, draft reports and final reports;
3. Participate in training programs related to the services within the Department's domain;
4. Organize and conduct presentations (if required) on proposals submitted and reports produced by the Department maintaining the professional standards set out by the firm;
5. Build reference materials and database for the firm on project studies, business and assets valuation and other core areas of services of the Department;
6. Avail her/his services abroad when requested by the firm and/or network firms around the world, on relevant assignments;
7. Actively engage in the firm's continuous effort in building the capacity of Corporate Finance Department;
8. Lead and strengthen the Corporate Finance Department of the firm to enable it deliver quality professional services at her/his level best ability with due care and integrity;
9. Pursue and establish professional alliance with other consultants, business people, business associations, regulatory authorities, and other individuals and organizations to promote the services of the Department; and ensure that the firm maintains its good relationships with its existing and potential clients;
10. Promote the services of the department towards the business community, public sector, not-for profit and other international organizations;
11. Prepare and submit technical and financial proposals to relevant consulting tenders and invitations maintaining the firm’s Good Practice Standards as well as the requirements of the tender documents;
12. Endeavor to develop cost effective methodologies in executing a consulting engagement in full consideration of the firm’s Business Development Consulting Guidelines;
13. Liaise with the Managing Partner of the firm in relation to the engagements of the Department;
14. Prepare regular quarterly and annual progress reports and submits to the Managing Partner of the firm;
15. Liaise with other Departments of the firm for staff scheduling and undertaking joint assignments;
16. Liaise with the Finance and Admin Officer of the firm on administrative issues such as collection of fees, payment of outside professional staff, timely payment of taxes, organization of training resources, etc.,
