Apposit is one of the premiere software development companies in Ethiopia. We are looking for highly motivated and capable Senior Software Engineers and Software Engineers to join our growing team. We are looking for smart people that have a track record of accomplishment, love software development and want to be part of building exciting, new technology based businesses.
Our software engineers work on a variety of assignments focused largely on enterprise applications and multi-channel (SMS, IVR, mobile apps, etc.) applications. You will be required to learn things quickly and be able to apply your knowledge to critically think through and solve problems. We work across Africa and are building some of the continent’s most exciting technology platforms.
Senior Software Engineers
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
• Degree holder in a relevant discipline
• 5+ years expertise and experience in software application development.
• Experience in relevant OO development tools and languages such as Java, .NET, C/C++. Java experience is a plus.
• Strong database management and programming skills.
• Extensive experience developing browser based applications.
• Track record of accomplishment and practical experience.
• Able to take abstract concepts and implement concrete solutions.
• Able to work independently at high levels of quality and speed.
• Experience with Open Source platforms/frameworks/systems such as Linux, Apache frameworks, MySQL a plus.
