SENIOR MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN

MAJOR/CORE ACTIVITIES OF THE JOB· Leading, motivating and supporting the electrical team.

· Completing all maintenance service requests as assigned.

· Monitoring and controlling the power consumption.

· Monitiring the spare parts inventory for cost effective operations.

· Scheduling and completing the “Preventative electrical Maintenance Program”.

· Coordinating special maintenance as directed by the maintenance Manager.

· Responsible for 24-hour emergency electrical maintenance service as scheduled.

· Performing on-call maintenance.

· Alerting the production and maintenance Manager for any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

· Identifying and implementing best practice from across the beverage industries.

· Preparing and reviewing electrical maintenance schedules; investigating and resolving schedule on assigned activity.

· Providing supervision, technical direction and assistance to other electricians.

· Preparing and presenting written and oral reports on electrical maintenance activities.

· Controlling maintenance tools, stores and equipment.

· Monitoring and controlling maintenance costs.

· Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.

· Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.

· Creating electrical maintenance procedures.

· Providing training & development of direct reports and concerns.

· Monitoring and improving the effectiveness of the machine & controls performance.

· Developing close working relationships with the other functions.

· Ensuring continued alignment of strategy and delivery.

· Carry out any other duties as required to meet business needs.

Qualification:

• BSc Degree in Electrical Engineering or Level V in Industrial Automation & Control Technology Management or Level IV in Mechatronics & Instrumentation servicing management Or Level  III/II in Industrial Electrician Machine & Drive servicing (IEMDS) from recognized University or college.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintenance, production and/or Manufacturing for Degree/Manufacturing for degree /2 years for  Level V, 3 years for Level IV, 4 years for Level III, 5 years for Level II in mechanic.
