Working with the Emergency team, the post holder, being the interface between the team, Head of Programmes and the Country Director, will lead and manage the emergency team and aggressively strategizes and positions Plan Ethiopia to respond to emergencies and disasters in the areas of operation and new areas when necessary. She / he will, among other things, oversee and supervise program development, planning, implementation, monitoring and resource mobilization.
To be successful, you need to have BA / Master’s degree and at least 10 years’ experience in NGO sector, and proven experiences and ability to coordinate and collaborate with different organizations such as donors, the government in emergency response.
