ZTE Corporation is China’s largest Telecommunication Equipment provider specializing in offering customized network solution for telecom carries world wide The company develops and manufactures telecommunications equipment for fixed mobile, data and optical networks intelligent networks as well as mobile phones. ZTE (H.K) Limited Ethiopian Branch is inviting qualified applicants for the following vacant position:-

1. Design Engineer (required Number: 1)

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

• Familiar with site’s survey process, and be good at using AUTOCAD, and drawing the sketch about site layout


• Familiar with basic telecom network systems and telecom equipments


• It is better to have experience about related telecom projects (including wireless, fixed line, transmission)

2. Outside Plant Engineer (required number: 2)

Major Responsibilities and required skills:

• project management knowledge, preferably with PMP certificate


• familiar with Ethio Telecom OSP design specification


• understanding fiber distribution diagram


• familiar with OSP civil work, such as trench excavation and backfill, manhole construction, pole erecting


• familiar with optical fiber cable testing, understand optical fiber test report, can operate OTDR, Light source, power meter


• familiar with ODF, understand how to terminate optical fiber in ODF

Required Qualification and Skills

• BSc in electrical engineering/related filed and 2-4 years of work experience


• Skilled in MS office software and AUTOCAD


• Work with responsibility and passion


• Very good communication & writing skill in English; Able to work under pressure; Willing to travel and work overtime

3. Sales Supervisor (required number: 2)

• BA degree/Diploma in related fields


• Good experience related to mobile smart phone sales and supervision. Very good English and Amharic communication skill
