Job Description:
The responsibility of the Principal Transport officer is to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the transport activities of projects related to machineries and vehicles, to ensure efficient and cost effective services in the implementation of the construction activities.
Duties and responsibilities
• Direct activities related to dispatching, routing, and tracking transportation vehicles
• Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
• Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints.
• Serve as contact persons for all workers within assigned territories.
• Implement schedule and policy changes.
• Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
Job Requirements:
BA/ MA/MBA/in Transport Management / Business Administration) with 9/7 years of experience, out of which 3 years must be in transport sector.
