Qualification: A minimum of B.Sc. degree in accounting and finance and economics. Additional training on leadership and computer skills is an asset.
Years of Experience: A minimum of five year experience in a managerial and supervisory role on finance including taxations
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day to day human and financial activities of the project including managing project equipment, facilities and safety, etc.
- Prepare short and long term planning of the Project and presenting it to PI for approval.
- Supervise and evaluate th performance of the data clerk as well as temporary administrative staff to ensure effective and efficient service delivery
- Monitor in collaboration with the research staff the overall data collection process from recruitment till discharge or death of preterm infants
- Conduct monthly monitoring of patient folders per site, missing and incomplete information, unusual values, and other related issues and share a report to the PI
- Prepare a quarterly summary report for the panel discussion for determining cause of death
- Closely work with other research team members to rectify problems that may arise during data collection, entry and archive
- Maintains the confidentiality of all information collected
- Responsible for the property management of the project including computers, printers, photocopiers, lab facilities
- To carry out other related duties as assigned by the PI
