Here’s where you come in:
As Chief of Party – WASH, Ethiopia you will be responsible for overall management, technical direction, and administration to ensure project success. This includes the acquisition and supervision of the project’s financial and human resources. You will ensure the quality and timeliness of all project deliverables. You will also be responsible for ensuring effective coordination of project activities with those of relevant GOE ministries, international organizations, and other USAID funded WASH activities.
Requirements include:
· Hold a master’s degree or higher in a relevant field and have technical skills which complement those of the project’s key technical specialists.
· Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the water and sanitation, private sector development, behavior change or marketing.
· Have at least 10 years of successful experience as Project Director of large donor-funded technical assistance teams for projects of similar magnitude and complexity in developing countries.
· Have prior experience with private sector development programs.
· Fluency in English mandatory, proficiency in Amharic preferred.
· Be prepared to travel to implementation sites and regional, global meetings as required.
