Terms of Reference
The project is focused on job creation and awareness raising in order to prevent the illegal migration in the Woreda of Ambassel, Tehuledere and Worebabo, South Wollo.
The role
The local Coordinator will be in charge of the project management and activities implementation. He/ she will be supported and supervised by the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
– Project management:
- Planning, organizing, coordinating and supervising the implementation of interventions and activities in the 3 Woredas according to the project goals; ensuring the respect of the action plan and budget; coordinating and supervising the project staff; ensuring a constant and punctual communication and information flow to the Project manager; –
- ensuring the implementation of administrative and financial procedures according to the DONOR guidelines and policies;
- handling financial planning and budget according to the activities implementation.
– Relationships and Stakeholders
- Representing Cifa on the areas of intervention in front of all the stakeholders
- Participation in cluster meetings and other coordination meetings with local or international stakeholders
Requirements:
- degree in social sciences and/or economics;
- knowledge of the Project Cycle Management;
- at least 3 years experience as project coordinator in the relevant field of work;
- experience on micro-entrepreneurial and economic women empowerment projects;
- experience in sensitization and awareness creation campaigns;
- narrative and financial reporting abilities;
- good abilities in relationships with local and institutional partners;
- excellent knowledge of written and oral English is mandatory (knowledge of the language will be subject to a verification test)
Salary: The salary will be commensurate with the experience of the selected candidate and according to the organization salary scale.
