Duties & Responsibilities
• A quality assurance manager reports to the processing plant manager and is responsible in achieving the immediate and short term objectives laid down in the general plans and objectives of the processing plant.
• Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization.
• Develop, implement, communicate and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company’s Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with quality system requirements FSMS 22000 ,HACCP and Good GMPs
• Effectively interact with Production and Engineering teams to effectively deliver quality specifications as per requirement.
• Working with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers both raw material and packaging .
• Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
• Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
• Supervising line and Lab technical staff in carrying out tests and checks.
• Writing technical and investigative reports as concerns product co
• Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
• Liaising with customers’ auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers’ specification
• Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Company’s Management team (Member of Management Team).
• Identifying relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training.
• Working Place: Doni, (Tibila Frame) , oromia 52 km fare from Nazrat (Adama)
V. Education/Qualification
Min requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in an applied science, Food science or engineering field.
VI. Work Experience : Minimum 5 years in quality assurance in Beverage, soft drinks and juice plant or related food industry .
