1. Position: Irrigation Engineer

No. Required: 1 (One)

Qualification: BSc Degree in Irrigation Engineering/ Agriculture Engineering or related field.

Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years & above experience in Irrigation activities& water works. NGO experience is advantageous

Duty stations: KelemWoIlega Zone of GawoKebeWoreda

Main duties among others;

• Identify study and design small scale irrigation & water supply schemes.


• Supervise all irrigation activities of the project and water supply.


• Produce design and bill of quantities for irrigation & water supply works


• Implement and supervise flood protection structures at river banks.


• Produce operational plan of action and organize reports and regular basis.

2. Position: Project Coordinator

No. Required: 1 (One)

Qualification: BSc Degree in General Agriculture or related field.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years & above with Managerial experience. NGO experience is advantageous

Duty stations: KelemWollega Zone of GawokebeWoreda

Main duties among others;

• Prepare Plan of Operation and Budget.


• Follow up the day to day operation of the project.


• Coordinates all program components, sub components & activities.


• Coordinates & make decision on all activities related to office operation, organize, facilitate, financial and administrative issues under his authority.


• Actively participates in the preparation and implementation of the annual and strategic plan of the project, supervises the administrative and technical activities of each department& section.


• Ensures that the various program components being undertaken by the project are feasible and addressing the need and maximum number of beneficiaries.

Language: A good command of spoken and written English.

Salary: Negotiable

Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
