Junior Network Administrator

Job Description

• Job description: A Junior Network Administrator is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the company’s LAN & WAN networks and all connected PCs and peripherals, including planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links; Troubleshooting Computers in different branches of the company; Analyzing and resolving end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and providing end user training where it is required.


• Required qualifications: BSc degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, and Professional certificate on Network device configuration and administration (CCNA is preferable)


• Experience: 2 years demonstrated experience with enterprise level network support and administration.


• Knowledge/Skills/Ability: Knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level analysis; In-depth understanding of network security, Firewall configuration, and Cisco systems;


• Language proficiency: Oral and written communications in Afan Oromo and English language is required


• Quantity: one


• Salary: as per the salary scale of the company and attractive
