Job Description
The Tracking Trends in Ethiopian Civil Society (TECS) phase 1 project was an initiative of the Civil Society Sector Group (CSSG) under the donors’ Development Assistance Group (DAG). From 2010 to 2014, TECS provided useful information, analysis and research to Development Partners (DPs) and DAG members on the civil society operating environment and related trends in Ethiopia. TECS’s objectives were also to build a constructive, evidence-based dialogue on the contribution and participation of Ethiopia’s civil society sector in national development and poverty reduction process.
The Embassy of Canada in Ethiopia and the DAG CSSG have agreed that there is a need for targeted research and activities that continue tracking the civil society environment in Ethiopia in 2016 and decided to launch a second phase of TECS.
