Young Men’s Christian Association of Ethiopia (YMCA) invites eligible candidates for its vacant post of Executive Director and Senior Officer, External & Volunteer Relations Services.

YMCA Ethiopia seeks an enthusiastic, well organized and self-motivated individual capable of developing and providing visionary leadership and mobilizing members, volunteers and partners resources to strengthening the Association.

Skills required for Executive Director

Demonstrated success in program planning and development, operations and fiscal management, staff development, board and volunteer relations, flexibility and the ability to think analytically and critically, multi-task, work independently problem solving are imperative. Relationship building and fund raising skills are critical along with written and verbal communication skills.

Education: Second degree in Management /Public Administration / Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/ Governance and Development Studies/ and Related Studies Or

First degree in Management/Public Administration/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology/ Governance and Development Studies

Experience: 6 years NGO work experience with higher manager position(s) knowledgeable With Project Management experience Or 8 years NGO work experience with higher manager position(s) with project Management experience

Place of Work: Addis Ababa

Salary: Negotiable
