Driver

Food for the Hungry Ethiopia is a non-governmental organization engaged in relief and development activities, would like to invite potential candidates to apply for the following positions:Basic Responsibilities:

 

·         Ensures the proper functioning of the assigned vehicle to make ready for users departments;

·         Checks oil, water, tire and be sure other important items are in place/properly functioning before driving; to make ready for users departments

·         Diligently provides transportation service to user departments; so as to help the mission performance.

·         Properly deliver items from and to the required place as ordered;

·         Reports any damage and accidents on time to logistics officer;

·         Handle minor repairs of the assigned vehicles as required; so that to enable the normal work went smoothly.

·         Keeps the mileage records neat and correct; so that the mileage charge of user departments will be done properly.

·         Makes the assigned vehicles tidy; so that to satisfy user departments

·         Be sure that the assigned vehicle is serviced in timely fashion to render need service for user department ;

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• 10th grade complete or above


• 3^rd grade Driving License

 Work Experience:

•   At least 3 years field driving experience. NGO experience is an added advantage.

Duty Station:  One of FH Ethiopia Projects

Duration of Contract: One year (Renewable) with 45 days probation period
