Job Description

Globally, Dummen Orange (Red Fox Ethiopia) is the largest young cutting and bedding plant firm with a significant presence in Ethiopia for over 12 years. The company is based in Koka, employs over 2500 staff and has plans to grow further, to strengthen the company operations, to strengthen the commitment to customers and to provide a good working environment for our employees.

Responsibilities

• Deliver export item as per scheduled


• Collect import item to the farm


• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation,policies and procedures


• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks

• Take and accept different documents from farm to Addis office and Vice versa


• Ensure trucks and equipment are safely and securely stored

• Informing or reporting any technical or mechanical problem occurs on cars.


• Following timely service like oil, change break, etc…by brining to the service station.


• Committed and interested to work in tight schedule.


• Maintain daily records of deliveries

• Willing to do job assigned by supervisor


• Perform other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor or managers

Requirements

• 12 grade complete and above with  valid 5^th level Driving license


• 2 years and above experience as a cold truck driver


• Better understanding of mechanical parts of cars


• Very good command of English Language skill.


• Good knowledge on cargo areas is  preferable


• knowledge of truck and equipment safety and Operation


• knowledge of import export item delivery procedures


• honest, trustworthy and able to demonstrate  Sound work ethics

Terms & Conditions of Employment

• Length of Contract: Definite


• Duty Station: RFE head office, Koka – 92 kms away from Addis Ababa.
