Position Title: Nutrition Technical Officer (3 positions)
Contract Type: Personal Service Agreement
Project/Unit: UNJP/ETH/090/CEF
Duty Station: Amhara, Oromia, SNNPR
Grade Level: As per UN Scale
Organizational Unit: FAO Representation in Ethiopia
Duration: Initial Six (6) Months Probationary Period with Possibility of Extension

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the overall guidance of the FAO Representative (FAOR) in Ethiopia, the functional guidance of the Assistant FAOR, the direct supervision of the Regional Field Office Coordinator and the technical supervision of the RI1 Team Leader, the incumbent will:

• Provide support in the day to day implementation of project activities


• Support in organizing training, review meeting and workshops


• Support and follow timely delivery of inputs at project site


• Follow the singing of Letter of Agreements (LOAs) with targeted woredas


• Timely report on project achievement and support on project documentation


• Support complementary food production and promotion


• Perform other related duties as required

Minimum Requirements
Candidates should meet the following:

• University degree in Nutrition, Economics, Public Health, Agriculture, Rural Development or closely related field


• Five years of practical experience in planning, managing and executing projects


• Working knowledge of English and Amharic
