Position Title: Communication Consultant
Number required: One (1)
Reports to: CGPP Secretariat Director
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow up the production of video, posters, leaflets, and other job aids on Immunization in Amharic and Oromiffa.
- Field test job aids and finalize
- Conduct public awareness campaigns on Immunization among the community in the project area such as, School children, teachers, parents and community members
- Conduct outreach by holding a stakeholders’ meeting to enhance immunization, and visit selected schools and distribute appropriate job aids to children and people in communities.
- Make sure the availability and distribute hygiene kits such as soap and bucket to students for use in their households
- Frequent follow up and support to the project area
- Submit monthly activity report of the overall progress of the project and final project report to the CGPP
- Develop pre and final KAP survey tools.
- Work closely with regional, zonal and district health bureaus of Ethiopian government and other relevant government bodies
- Participate in group teleconference calls and/or face-to-face meetings convened by IVI and/or LG Electronics (Seoul headquarters or Ethiopia branch office)
Terms of employment: Nine month contract as part-timer for three days a week.
Working hours per day is negotiable
Duty station: Addis Ababa with frequent field visit
Salary: Negotiable
