Job Summary

Fixed Broadband & Convergence Engagement Practice is responsible for driving and delivering Ericsson’s 4th Generation IP vision towards a Networked Society enabled by Networks which are Simple, Smart, Superior and Scalable. A central component of this vision is IP & Packet Core.

 

Responsible for analyzing, designing & developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. Responsible for profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, & technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions & proposals.

 

Excellent Knowledge on IP Networking and design (MPBN / CGNAT / EIN )

Excellent in-depth knowledge about PS Core/ (SGSN-MME, EPG, SAPC, SASN,..) and about Core Network Functionality (Signaling/SIGTRAN, SGSN in Pool, SAU PDP & PPS parameters, Charging Systems).

Excellent knowledge about Core node design and dimensioning.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• 
  Experience from technical roles focusing on solutions is a required experience for this role, e.g. experience from work as Integration engineer / solution architect
  

 

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

• 
  Existing Solution Architect in current role with demonstrable examples of requirement capture and solution creation
  


• 
  Senior customer facing experience
  


• 
  Broader experience in FBC portfolio (e.g. MBH, IPRAN, Metro) will be considered an advantage.
  

 

Additional Requirments, Physical Demands, Region/Local Specifications:

• 
  The Role is expected to support engagements throughout CU North East Africa as well as the broader Middle East Region and will include multiple travel/assignments in other countries.
