Chief of Party, Ethiopia We are currently seeking a Chief of Party for an upcoming multiyear program in Ethiopia. The possible start date is July 2011, and the position is contingent upon ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program. The program's goal is to improve smallholder incomes and nutritional status through investments in selected livestock value chains.
Responsibilities: ? Provide overall leadership management and general technical direction of the entire program, ensuring an integrated vision among different components and actors, and a focus on achieving the results defined in the contract. Identify issues and risks related to program implementation in a timely manner and suggest appropriate program adjustments. ? Provide quality control and ensure timeliness of all deliverables. ? Serve as principal liaison with USAID staff, government and private sector institutions, and client country partners to exchange information and develop professional relationships. ? Make verbal or written presentations to varied audiences.
