Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Recruit , Technicians, Mechanics, and Electricians


•  React to breakdown maintenance  on hand on approach to reduce down time


• Provide routine monthly and yearly  preventive maintenance plans


• Involved in direction of purchase of factory spare parts another consumables to meet require specification


• Daily  Plan discussions conducted with all direct reports  to review daily expectation and work plan


• Develop and plan engineering Capex and operational budgets


• Identify training needs for engineering department


• Develop a TPM plan to ensure effective maintenance and reduce equipment down time.


• Develop and recommend suitable equipment operators for key critical equipments.


• Evaluate availability status of key equipment to improve operational efficiency.


• Participate in new project execution from formulation to implementation


• Liaise with external service providers , negotiate on service rates and ensure external services are carried out cost effectively


• Ensure that all log books and work orders are correctly filled and recorded as per HACCP procedures.


• Team vision and goals communicated to all team members.


•   Ensure all engineering staff maintain high standards of discipline on time management and job execution


• Continuous review of critical spare parts and other consumables and ensure that stock outs are mitigated.


• Team KPI’s measured regularly, communicated to team and if necessary, corrective action taken.


• Ensure all engineering reports monthly or weekly are prepared and submitted

• Min requirement: B.SC degree in Mechanical, Electrical Industrial, Chemical Engineering or related field

Work Experience:

• Min 5 years in Beverage, soft drinks and juice industries
