Contact individuals to be interviewed at home or field location.
Adhere to standards for ethical research and the protection of human subjects, including informed consent and maintenance of confidentiality
Explain survey objectives and procedures to interviewees.
Administer questionnaire in accordance with instructions.
Identify and report problems in obtaining valid data.
Review data obtained from interview for completeness and accuracy.
Meet with supervisor daily to submit completed data and discuss progress.
Attend regular review meeting as scheduled by the supervisor,
Perform any other tasks as given by the supervisor.
Spend the entire data collection period travelling around rural areas. Applicants shall meet physical requirements of the job
Interact with local officials and rural residents. They will treat all persons contacted under this study with utmost respect.
Work well in a team.
Highest level of honesty and integrity.
Each data collector will collect a minimum of six questionnaires on a daily bases. Number of questionnaire per day is determined based on the baseline survey experience of walking distance within data collection areas.
Job Requirements
Minimum of diploma.
Language of the local area Tigrigna and Oromia is a plus.
Nutrition survey experience on IYCF is mandatory.
Acceptable performance demonstrated during data collection for project monitoring survey survey, ENGINE baseline survey, Agriculture nutrition panel survey and ENGINE LQAS is advantageous.

From the TOR; applicants can get full information on what to incorporate in the proposal.
Interested applicants should submit two separate sealed documents in which one document should include the technical proposal including curriculum vitae of the proposed professional(s) with supporting document that shows previous work experience. The second document should include professional fee on the bases of daily rates, VAT and per diem costs, as well as transport costs separately for the stated work along with copy of renewed Consultancy License to Save the Children Ethiopia Country Office in Addis Ababa, situated around Bisrate Gabriel Church, Dire Complex Building, before Friday September 4, 2015 at 4:30 P.M in person.
Only proposals from individuals will be accepted. Proposal from firms will not be accepted.
