 1.About the Organization:VisionFund Micro Finance Institution S.C. is an Institution established according to proclamation No. 40/96 to provide financial services to the productive poor in the rural & urban areas of Ethiopia. VisionFund is currently operating in four of the regional states of the Country. The MFI now seeks to fill the Budget and Treasury Manager
 2.  About the Job:VisionFund MFI S.C. is seeking to hire Treasury and Budget Manager, on permanent basis to be based in Addis Ababa. S/he will be responsible to supervise the MFI’s treasury & budget to ensure profitable operations and compliance with existing regulations.

3.Tasks and responsibilities:

proposes appropriate flow of treasury activitiesInteracts budget & treasury related issues between branches and departments in HO.Provides support in preparation of the business plan & monitoring of the annual operating plans and budgetsMonitors compliance of the company to the approved budget, report to CEO, CFO as well as other interested stakeholders, such as DONORS, and creditors on the monthly financial performance against the budgetConducts periodic review of the business planpropose future needs for additional funds 4.Qualifications and skills:

A minimum of Bachelor Degree in accounting/Finance & Accounting/Auditing & Accounting/ Banking or relevant social science fields plus (eight) years of relevant experience as treasury & budget roles in Financial Institution or relevant positions out of which 3(three) years in supervisory Position.Determined personality with initiative, perseverance and the ability to motivate and manage a teamCapability and willingness to take responsibility and highly develop sense of   rectitudeReady to comply and live up to and in accordance with the organization Ideals and core valuesWith proficiency level in good knowledge in microfinance or in bankingComfortable working knowledge in microfinanceBe proficient in Microsoft office applications5.Salary: -   Negotiable and attractive benefit packages.
