Major Roles & Responsibilities
The role and responsibility of the consortium project coordinator Is to ensure effective Implementation of the multi sector, multi agency ECHO funded Resilience building project in Borana/Liben. The coordinator will provide coordination at field level in Borana/Liben, liaise with consortium members field offices, government partners, NGOs and UN agencies working In Borana.
Project Management:
• Ensuring that the project is implemented effectively and in compliance with ECHO rules and regulations.
• Ensuring complementarities and synergy between the project various sectors and with similar development projects/programs In Borana zone/Liben zone.
• Ensuring effective coordination and communication among consortium NGOs office in Borana/Liben.
• Representation of the project initiatives to government stakeholders, NGOs and UN agencies in Borana/Liben
• Coordinating joint monitoring missions, assessments/survey, evaluation and knowledge sharing undertakings.
• Represent the consortium in government led meetings and various forums in Borana/Liben.
• Ensure that consortium members are implementing activities based on the agreed joint work plan and within the budget limit through regular monitoring of the budget against the expenditure.
• Ensure that reports with supportive documents are submitted regularly according to the deadlines
