JOB SUMMARY
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises the human resource management, development and general service activities of the Company. Ensures that recruitment, promotion, training, benefit administration activities are efficiently carried out on the basis of the policies and efficiently carried out on the basis of the policies and procedures of the Company. - DETAILED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises the human resource management, development and general service activities of the Company.
- Ensures that recruitment, promotion, training, benefit administration activities are efficiently carried out on the basis of the policies and efficiently carried out on the basis of the policies and procedures of the Company.
- Ensures that the available human resources of the Company are managed effectively.
- Ensures that personnel policies, regulations and procedures of the Company are complied.
- Ensures the development and acquisition of trained manpower to meet the company short term and long-range plans through fresh recruitment and training.
- Ensures conformance with the provision of the labor law and the collective agreement of the company in the administration of both permanent and temporary employees.
- Ensures the provision of printing, communications and maintenance, custodian and janitorial services of the Company.
- Ensures the provision of adequate medical care at the clinical level to all employees of the company monitoring payments of hospital and pharmacy bills. Reviews and approves employment of doctors on contract basis.
- Oversees the provision of adequate staff welfare and benefits activities of the Company.
- Maintains liaison between management and labor unions and represents the Company in collective negotiation and in matters connected to labor management relation.
- Develops and applies a comprehensive performance rating system of the employees of the Company.
- Develops and operates training programs for all the staff of the Company in consultation with the appropriate departments of the Company.
- Ensures the maintenance of property belonging to the Company; supervises proper utilization and maintenance of service vehicles.
- Plans and directs redeployment and retraining programs of the Company personnel as a result of changes in EIG Programs, structure and policies.
- Ensures the maintenance of personnel records for all employees of the Company. Administers handling of correspondence and record keeping.
- Organizes and directs the human resource development programs of the Company.
- Administers salary and other employee benefit programmes.
- Ensures the systematic and efficient management of records.
- Ensures that proper recruitment, placement, promotion and transfer of employees is practiced
- Directs and supervises the support activities of general services, ensures proper maintenance of business records and personnel files and efficient office service communication & transport support.
- Advices and assists top management in the formulation and implementation of HR policies and procedures in respect to the sound management of administrative matters
- Prepares and submits staff performance appraisal reports.
- Performs such other related activities as may be assigned by the Plant Manager.
