Consultancy: 3 months from 1. August (three months full time; then part time follow up for publication)
Objectives
Coordination of the workshop Support workshop contributors in editing their papers.
Principal tasks
Overall project management for the workshop (logistics and comms team is in place) Liaison with stakeholders and resource persons Develop detailed workshop programme Coordinate editing and review papers contributed.
Reporting
The position reports to the Programme Director or Outreach Leader The position coordinates with professional and support staff.
Special Qualifications
Relevant University Degree (MA or PhD) Excellent command of English and at least oral command of French; command of Mandarin would be an advantage At least 8 years of relevant professional experience Substantial knowledge of the subject matter (if available, include sample publications in your application) Substantial experience with international workshops and interactive workshop design 100% commitment and capability to deliver results at high standards Substantial exposure to different African countries and other continents
