Job Description
The Hotel Manager will devote substantially all of his time and attention to, and will use his best energies and abilities in the performance of, his duties and responsibilities
Job Requirements:
- Connect with people in a meaningful way, continually innovating to expand the reach with key corporate, business, and travel industry accounts, tapping into community organizations and the media to elevate the hotel’s market share awareness and driving further business.
- Focus on pure selling. Maintain an active sales management plan through personal, telephone and electronic correspondence sales work. Quality is as important as quantity.
- Work with Hotel Sales Pro – Update and maintain an active sales trace system database, actively maintain, review and update hotel and ensure all business booked is in the Property Management System with account/customer information, tentative/confirmed bookings and room blocks.
- Participate in meetings, conventions, trade shows and events representing the Best Comfort Hotel Management.
- Meet regularly with the director, to ensure the sales plan and strategy matches the hotel’s goals
- setting and achieving sales and profit targets
- Analyzing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies
- Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
- Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly
- Dealing with customer complaints and comments
- Addressing problems and troubleshooting
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Carrying out inspections of property and services
- supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations and furnishings
- Complete bi-weekly and monthly sales reporting.
