Cahier Accountant

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Financial Accounting Division Manager, the job holder is responsible to maintains petty cash as per the authorized amount; effects payments at the warehouse level; prepares cash and credit sales documents and ensures all sales are reported to HO Finance on timely basis.  

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Requests petty cash replenishment as per its minimum authorized level determined by the finance Department.

·         Effects petty cash payment as per authorization of the concerned body

·         Keeps cash and other valuable company goods in the safe way.

·         prepares cash receipts vouchers /CRV/

·         Prepares cash or credit sales documents

·         Collects all invoices and prepares sales

.         Ensures all sales are timely reported to Financial Accounting Division Manager

·         TVET Level 3 in Accounting OR related fields

·         4+ years of work experience as a cashier accountant or Accountant.

.         Has exposure in EPR system or any Accounting Soft Ware
