Dan Church Aid (DCA) is a legally registered international NGO (Charities and Societies Agency Certificate # 1083) engaged in development and humanitarian assistance to poor rural people in Ethiopia In partnership with Ethiopian NGOs and civil society organizations.

DCA would like to employ self-motivated and competent professional to fill Camp Manager position for its project entitled “Assistance for vulnerable South Sudanese refugee households with supplementary food through provision of fresh food vouchers In Kule refugee camp in Gambella Regional State, Ethiopia” which is under negotiation with the back donor, DFID; and the recruitment is conditional on securing the grant from DFID.

Position: Camp Manager

Accountable to: Cash/Voucher Project Manager

Main Responsibilities: The Camp manager is responsible for the coordination of assistance and services to be provided by the Cash /Voucher project at camp level. This entails building effective partnerships with a diversity of stakeholders, ranging from refugees to humanitarian partners, traders, service providers, local communities, and government authorities.

Actively participates in camp coordination meetings as well as meetings with refugee central committees

Reporting: Report regularly on camp activities to the Cash/Voucher project Manager

Perform other duties as assigned by the management

Key Qualifications! Skills:

Terms of Employment: 11 months (Extension probability depending on the funding availability)

Duty Station: Gambella

Salary: Negotiable based on level/ relevance of education, experience and within the framework of DCA Ethiopia salary scale.

Hardship Allowance: As per government policy
