Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) Assistant Job at Heineken Brewery - 2015

Position in the organization:

Reports to Op.Co. SHE Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

He/she supports the SHE Coordinator on all matters related to Safety, Health and Environment at supply chain, sales and distribution as well as the HQ.He/she has to be aware of developments in local legislation, its (future) health and safety impact on the Production Sites/ depots activities has to be made explicit and brought to the attention of the SHE CoordinatorHe/she ensures the implementation of Global Supply Chain and local guidelines such as SHE Rules, Standards & Procedures in the Production Sites and Depots.He/she ensures the correct application of definitions, accurate registration and data storage in all sites.In coordination with the Supply Chain Training Manager and together with the SHE engineers, he/she will Identify safety training needs, organize and co-ordinate safety training courses and prepare training material where appropriate.Carryout regular inspections, surveys, and audits at the breweries/depots and formulate a plan of action to correct non-compliant behavior or conditions; follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.He/she will support the SHE coordinator in training, coaching and assisting SHE engineers to identify workplace hazards, unsafe conditions and unsafe acts, and  create awareness among all employees on necessary precautions to be taken    He/she supports the SHE Engineers in ensuring the appropriate  investigation of  accidents, incidents and near misses to identify the root cause and take corrective and preventative actionsHe/she supports the SHE Coordinator and the SHE Engineers in performing a correct risk analysis at the brewery & depots; he/she will assist the SHE engineers in setting up a clear plan to close the gaps and will monitor the timely execution of activities.He/she supports the SHE coordinator and the breweries’ GM’s in ensuring the legal compliance of the brewery in matters related to Safety, Health and Environment.He/she will assist the SHE coordinator in dealing with local Health & Safety and Environmental Authorities.He/she will assist the SHE Coordinator in producing yearly Safety and Environmental Reports.He/she will address safety and environmental non-compliances and will make proposal for improvements, also in terms of investments.
