


The Country Director ensures that the quality of ADRA community development programming is participatory, innovative, and results in positive impact in the lives of beneficiaries.
The Country Director also ensures that ADRA administrative operations are efficient, professional, financially accountable, provides a positive and challenging work environment for personnel, and is an exemplary model of Seventh-day Adventist values.
Qualifications :
Graduate or postgraduate qualifications in development or related fields.Member in good standing of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
A strong commitment to the ADRA and Seventh-day Adventist Church’s mission, vision and values.
Management experience relevant to community development.
Proven skills in leadership and strategic management, specifically NGOs.
Cross cultural and human interpersonal skills.
Networking skills and ability to effectively represent ADRA in all relations with donors and other stakeholders
Demonstrated commitment to sharing expertise and delegating responsibility to others.
Ability to live in the country and travel to project sites.
Proficiency with proposal writing and reporting to donors.
Ability to train/mentor local leadership.
Prior program and/or management experience in ADRA or other NGO.
