Save the Children and it’s implementing partners are planning to develop implementation manual for a school code of conduct and monitoring tools. In 2014, the Amhara Region Bureau of Education and Save the Children developed a student code of conduct. Taking this opportunity and initiatives forward and with a view of implementing the code of conduct, SC and the partners are planning to develop an implementation manual and monitoring tool.
Save the Children Ethiopia Country Office, therefore, wants to hire an experienced and competent consulting firm to conduct for Developing Implementation Manual & Monitoring Tools for School Code of Conduct
The consulting firm should fulfill the following.
· Minimum Masters Degree in Developmental Psychology, Education, Sociology, Social Work, Anthropology from a recognized institution. Team composition is highly valued.
· Specific experiences on manual and tool development in the child protection and/or education sectors.
· Must to have specific experience on developing school code of conduct, implementation manuals and monitoring tools.
· Expert knowledge and practical experience on child protection issues and education in Amhara Region.
· Knowledge and experience of using participatory methodologies
· Proficiency in computer skills, including use of appropriate and relevant software.
· Strong analytical, presentation and writing skills in English and Amharic languages
· Available in June and July, 2015.

Interested applicants should submit two separate sealed documents in which one document should include the technical proposal including curriculum vitae of the proposed professional(s) with supporting document that shows previous work experience. The second document should include professional fee on the basis of daily rates, VAT and perdiem costs, as well as transport costs separately for the stated work along with copy of renewed Consultancy License to the above mentioned address of Save the Children, Ethiopia Country Office, on September 14, 2015, at 2:00 P.M in the box which is ready for this purpose. The SCI Procurement committee will open the proposals.
